Glenside Museum & Frenchay Museum

All day visit by car starting at 10.30am at Glenside Hospital Museum, Blackberry Hill. Fishponds with a conducted tour. The Museum is situated in an old chapel in the grounds of what was once a Mental Hospital or Asylum. Some of the exhibits are gruesome but during WW1, it became the Beaufort Military Hospital. Lunch will be taken at the Harvester, Snuff Mills Pub in Frenchay Park Road. In the afternoon a visit will be paid to the nearby Frenchay Museum (optional).
Cost: donation to Glenside of £5.00 per head.
