Visit to Bristol Aerospace Museum

A Visit has been arranged to the Bristol Aerospace Museum at Hayes Way, Patchway, Bristol BS34 5BZ.

Suggest you drive there by car and arrive at 10.30am for a free flow tour of the large museum.You could start with coffee at the Cafê. At say 12.30 to 1.00pm you can stop for lunch. After lunch you can visit the Concordé Shed.

DIRECTIONS. Either take the A38 Gloucester Rd from Filton turning left towards Cribbs Causeway Shopping Mall after the Royal Mail Sorting Office. The Museum is signposted. If approaching from the Mall you will need to go past the museum , go all round the next roundabout and come back on the opposite side of the duel carriageway.

The cost of the visit is £10 per head excluding lunch. Please make out cheques to Backwell Probus Club at the meeting on 24th July.

Bristol Amateur Operatic Society is celebrating 125 years of entertaining Bristol. " Singing in the Rain" started as a film in 1952 . In 1983 it was adopted for the stage with Tommy Steel in the lead with new songs added.

The cost will be £13.50 a head. Cheque made payable to Peter Lamb  by 1st September, 11th at the latest.
